Adobong Pusit (Squid With Garlic & Tomato) Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb of small squids (fresh); rinsed thoroughly
10 pcs of garlic cloves; crushed
1 pc of onion (medium); sliced
Salt & pepper (to taste)
2 pcs of tomatoes (medium); chopped
1/2 c of vinegar (native)
1 tsp of vet-sin (MSG)
Instructions:
Discard the thin long membrane inside the squid then slit its eyes, letting its ink out. Place them inside the saucepan along with 6 garlic cloves, pepper, vinegar and salt.
Cover then slowly cook till squids become soft. Cut them to half-inched slices (crosswise). Saute the rest of garlic in lard on a pan then add tomatoes then onions.
Cook till tomatoes soften. Add squids with its liquid or stock. Simmer at about 7 mins and season pepper, MSG, and salt.
