Artichoke-And-Sun-Dried Tomato Pizza Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pack of dried yeast
1/4 tsp of salt
1/2 cup of heated water
1 & 1/2 c of flour (all-purpose); divided
Veggie cooking-spray
3 Tbsp tidbits of sun-dried tomatoes
1/4 tsp of dry basil
1 can of salt-free tomatoes (stewed); undrained & chopped
1/8 tsp of powdered pepper
1/4 tsp of dry oregano
1 garlic clove; minced
3/4 cup of drained artichokes; chopped
1/8 tsp of salt
1 & 1/2 tsp of cornmeal
1 cup of shredded cheese (Provolone, 4 oz)
Instructions:
Dissolve yeast in heated water placed in large mixing bowl. Stand mixture for five minutes. Add 1 & 1/4 c flour & salt forming a softened dough.
Next, turn out dough into slightly floured working surface. Knead ’til smooth & elastic, adding enough flour gradually. Combine tidbits of tomato, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, canned tomatoes and garlic in saucepan, boil.
Minimize heat then simmer without cover for 20 mins or ’til volume is reduced into 1 & 1/3 c. Punch down your dough then roll it into twelve-inch circle then coat w/ veggie spray.
Spread your tomato mix evenly into crust then top w/ artichokes & cheese. Let it bake for twelve minutes at five hundred degrees Fahrenheit on the oven’s bottom layer.
Once cooked, remove and transfer into board. Stand pizza for about 5 mins.
