Baked Tomato Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
2/3 c of oil (olive)
1/4 c of grated cheese (Romano)
3 cloves garlic; chopped finely
Salt
Pepper
Penne noodles
1.5 pounds of Italian tomatoes (plum); sliced lengthwise
1/4 c of dried crumbs of bread
31 tsp of dry oregano
Instructions:
Prepare oven. Heat it to four hundred twenty-five degrees Fahrenheit.
Cover the bake dish’s bottom w/ oil. Next, dip cut portions of the tomatoes into the oil and then arrange w/ cut-side-up. Fit tomatoes closely in single layer.
You combine crumbs, cheese, oregano, garlic, salt & pepper then sprinkle mixture over your tomatoes. Have them baked for about 40 mins. If the drippings begin burning, minimize heat 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Combine baked-tomatoes w/ penne and toss well then serve at once.
