Beef Tomato Linguine Toss Recipe
Ingredients:
4 ounces linguine (uncooked)
2 Tbsps of flour
8 ounces of tomato-sauce
1/2 c of skimmed milk
1/4 pound of extra-lean beef (ground)
1/2 c of chicken stock
2 Tbsps of parsley; chopped
1 Tbsp of cheese (Romano); optional
Instructions:
Cook the linguine in a large stick-free saucepan ’til wanted doneness. Once done, drain & keep heated. Using the same pan, cook beef ’til browned then set it aside.
Mix stock, milk and flour in the same pan. Allow to cook over mid-heat, stirring well ’til bubbly and thickened. Add parsley, cooked beef and tomato-sauce in, cook ’til well-heated.
Add in linguine, gently toss in order to evenly coat linguine. Top w/ cheese.
