Bloody Mary-Tomato Aspic Recipe
Ingredients:
4 packs of unflavored gelatin
1/4 c of water
Cottage cheese
1 Tbsp of Worcestershire-sauce
1/2 tsp of aromatic-bitters
3 & 3/4 c tomato-juice; divided
1 tsp of celery-salt
1 & 1/2c tsp of hot chili sauce
Lettuce leaves
Instructions:
Combine gelatin w/ 3/4 c tomato-juice & 1/4 c water to soften. Stand for 5 mins. Combine remaining tomato-juice, Worcestershire, celery-salt, bitters and hot chili sauce in small saucepan then allow to boil.
You remove pan from the heat then add in gelatin mix, stir well ’til gelatin is well dissolved. Pour mixture into greased 4 & 1/2 c of rounded mold then chill ’til firm.
Turn over plates lined w/ lettuce leaves and have center filled w/ cheese.
