Brandied Tomato Gravy Recipe
Ingredients:
A can of tomatoes (8 ounces)
2 Tbsps of all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp of brandy
1/4 tsp of salt
4 Tbsps of margarine or butter
A can of beef stock (14 ounces)
1/2 tsp of meat extract paste
Instructions:
Drain the tomatoes then reserve the liquid. Chop the tomatoes finely then set it aside.
Place saucepan on top of mid-heat then melt the butter. Stir flour in then cook for another minute. Stir beef stock gradually, liquid of tomatoes, tomatoes, paste, brandy & salt. Let it cook. Stir ’til mixture thickens & boils.
