Fresh Tomato Soup Recipe
Ingredients:
6 pcs of tomatoes (medium)/2 lbs of tomatoes (Italian plum)
1/2 c of yogurt
1 pc of chopped celery stalk
2 c of broth (chicken)
1/2 tsp of dried basil
1/4 tsp of ground pepper
1/2 tsp of salt
1 pc of chopped onion
1 Tbsp of tomato paste
Instructions:
Cut the tomatoes to wedges. Combine tomatoes, celery, broth, basil, pepper, salt, onion and tomato paste. Let it simmer for half an hour without cover.
Strain mixture and discard seeds and skins. Season to taste then garnish soup with yogurt. Good for 4 persons.
