Italian Sausage In Tomato Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
2 lbs of sausage (Italian)
1 tsp of oregano
2 c of tomato sauce
2 Tbsps of olive oil
1 lb of fresh mushrooms; sliced
1 c of wine (Chablis)
Instructions:
Saute sausage in oil for several minutes ’til firm. Remove the sausage from pan then allow to cool. Slice sausages into small pieces.
Combine tomato sauce, oregano, wine and mushrooms in skillet then allow to boil. Mix in sausage then cook about an hour over low-heat. Best served as an appetizer.
