Oven-Cured Tomatoes Recipe
Ingredients:
8 pcs of tomatoes (large)
Olive oil (extra virgin)
Salt & Pepper (to taste)
1 tsp of sugar (refined)
2 tsps of marjoram; chopped finely
Instructions:
Heat the oven at 250 degrees F. Slice or cut the tomatoes (crosswise) to thirds. Arrange on a (waxed paper-lined) cookie sheet.
Gently brush them with olive oil then season salt & pepper. Sprinkle marjoram and sugar. Place inside the oven and make sure that heat is turned off, for two hours and leave for over a night.
(For electric oven:) Bake for two hours and turn into warm then leave them for over a night.
