Pasta W/Pesto Sauce & Sun-Dried Tomatoes Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Pesto Sauce:
Basil
Salt & Pepper
Garlic
Nuts (pine)
1 Tbsp of olive oil
For the Bechamel Sauce:
1 Tbsp of olive oil
2 Tbsps of flour
Pasta (cooked)
1 c of milk (skim)
Salt & Pepper
4 pcs of tomatoes (sun-dried); softened in hot water then cut to strips
Instructions:
(Pesto)
Place the nuts, basil, salt, pepper, garlic, and oil inside a food processor. Process to puree. Set on the side.
(Bechamel Sauce)
Combine oil and flour; stir thoroughly till smooth. Add milk then season salt & pepper; stir thoroughly then cook till thickened. Put pasta on a serving bowl.
Add Bechamel, pesto, and (sun-dried) tomatoes; toss them well.
