Penne In Tomato Sauce With Crabmeat Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 c of olive oil
3 Tbsps of parsley (Italian); chopped finely
1 pc of onion (medium); chopped finely
28 oz of tomatoes (plum, canned); coarsely chopped and save the juices
1/4 c of dry wine (white)
1/2 lb of crabmeat (lump); picked over then flaked
Salt
Black pepper (ground)
1-1/2 c of pasta (penne, rotini, medium shells)
Instructions:
Heat the oil on a large skillet then add parsley and onion; saute for 3 mins till onions become tender. Add in the saved tomato juices; simmer for 10 mins or till slightly thick.
Add wine and tomatoes then simmer for 5 mins. Add crabmeat; let it simmer for 3 mins till heated thoroughly then season salt & pepper.
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions; drain. Place it on the skillet with the sauce; mix them. Serve at once.
